Abstract
ANTHEM – AdvaNced Technologies for Human-centred Medicine is an initiative financed by the Ministry of University and Research as part of the “National Plan for complementary investments to the PNRR” (PNC – National Complementary Plan), intervention “Research initiatives for technologies and innovative paths in the health and care sector” – DL 6 May 2021, n. 59, converted with amendments by L 1 July 2021, n. 101, marked with the identification code PNC0000003.
ANTHEM aims to fill, with the help of multidisciplinary and innovative technologies and paths, the existing gap in the healthcare of fragile and chronic patients within specific territories characterized by pathologies that lack therapies.
Briefly, the aim of the project are:
Smart Monitoring
Development of new sensors and technologies for monitoring patients, fragile populations and environments that involve the continuous collection and integration of data in real time.
Prevention and diagnosis
Development of new artificial intelligence technologies and methodologies aimed at improving early diagnosis, implementing digital models of pathologies and allowing the scalability of prevention and diagnosis at the specific disease and/or territorial level.
Personalized medical treatments
Development of advanced treatments for orphan tumors and chronic diseases dedicated to specific populations in target territories.
Technological improvement and transferability
Development of methodologies for the heterogeneous management of health data, protection, interoperability and for the integration of data with existing or developing IT platforms.
